Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy outlines how clients may cancel scheduled consulting services with Santiago Consulting Services and the conditions under which cancellations are permitted. This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Client-Initiated Cancellations

Clients may cancel scheduled consulting sessions or engagements by providing written notice to Santiago Consulting Services.

Cancellation requests must be submitted via email to:

Cancellations are effective only once confirmed in writing by Santiago Consulting Services.

Session Cancellations & Rescheduling

Individual Sessions

- Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled session time.

- Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full.

No-Shows

- Failure to attend a scheduled session without prior notice will be treated as a no-show.

- No-shows are non-refundable and may not be rescheduled.

Package or Ongoing Engagement Cancellations

For prepaid packages or ongoing consulting engagements:

- Clients may request cancellation of future, unrendered services with written notice.

- Any services already delivered, prepared, or scheduled will be billed at the standard hourly rate.

- Remaining prepaid balances are non-refundable, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Santiago Consulting Services reserves the right to determine what constitutes services rendered, including preparation time, analysis, documentation, or advisory work performed.

Consultant-Initiated Cancellations

In the rare event that Santiago Consulting Services must cancel or reschedule a session:

- The session will be rescheduled at a mutually agreeable time, or

- A credit may be applied toward future services, at Santiago Consulting Services’ discretion

Santiago Consulting Services is not responsible for indirect costs, lost business or consequential damages arising from rescheduling.

Termination for Cause

Santiago Consulting Services reserves the right to terminate services immediately, without refund, if a client:

- Engages in abusive, unethical, or unlawful behavior

- Fails to comply with agreed terms

- Initiates chargebacks without prior communication

- Uses services in a manner inconsistent with professional standards

No Guarantees or Obligations Beyond Cancellation

Cancellation of services does not entitle the client to:

- Refunds for completed work

- Guarantees of results

- Continued access to proprietary materials or intellectual property

Governing Law

This Cancellation Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon, United States. Any legal action arising from this policy shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Oregon.
